Love Where You Live Celebration

The Ottumwa Leadership Academy Class of 2024 is excited to announce its class project: Love Where You Live. The celebration will be Friday May 10th and Saturday, May 11th as a way to recognize the 180th anniversary of Ottumwa being the Wapello County seat. There will be opportunities to connect with neighbors and friends to take a walk together, eat together, & celebrate together as a community.

Friday (5-10 pm)

• 5 pm - Morgan's Corner Street Party Kick-Off (436 W 2nd St)
• 6 pm - .325 Fun Run/Walk (Morgan's Corner to Tom-Tom Tap)
• 6 pm - Rushmore live in Central Park
• 6:30 pm - Beverage Garden opens
• 8:15 pm - Fast Henry live in Central Park

Saturday (10am-2pm)

• Wapello County Courthouse Tours
• Historical Artifacts Exhibit
• Kids Bounce Houses in Central Park
• Pedal Tractor Pull in Central Park
• 4-H Stem Activities in Central Park
• Food Trucks in Central Park
