Run the River 5k & Fun Run

Join the Southeast Iowa JBS Sports Center and Meet Ottumwa for the inaugural Run the River 5K and 1.5 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, September 6th (rain date September 13th) at the sports center! This community event is the perfect way to kick off your morning, get active, and have fun with family and friends.

Check-in starts at 8:15 AM, with the race running from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The 5K entry fee is $35, and the Fun Run is $25, open to participants ages 10 and up. All registered runners will receive a custom event T-shirt designed by Schroeder’s Graphics. Enjoy local food trucks, refreshing Coke beverages, and plenty of post-race fun, including games, mini-tournaments, and exciting raffle prizes at noon.
