Attend Our Holiday Events!

Our calendar is packed with events during the holiday season — which ones will you choose?

November and December are the perfect months to visit Ottumwa and Wapello County, and we can’t wait for you to join us. From world-renowned performers and Winter Wonderland events to local holiday open houses and craft markets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here!

Cirque Musica: Holiday Wonderland - The all-new show is a must-see holiday event to usher in the magic of the season, bringing joy and wonder to Bridge View Center Theater on November 15 at 7 p.m. 

Downtown Ottumwa Holiday Open Houses - Many of the shops in the Main Street Ottumwa District will be open until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 17. There will be carriage rides, BINGO games, and lots of fun surprises for you and your friends to enjoy the evening.

Holiday Night 'N Lights - The magical route throughout Greater Ottumwa Park will be filled with more than 50 spectacular displays and decorative lighting. This season's lights will be open November 18 to December 29, Sunday-Thursday 5:30-8 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 5:30-9 p.m.

Winter Wonderland - American Home Finding Association's 6th annual Winter Wonderland is coming to the Hotel Ottumwa on Friday, December 8. Homemade/handmade crafters will have booths from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and there will be an all-day cocoa bar and cookie sale!

Scotty McCreery Live - Award-Winning Country Artist Scotty McCreery will perform live at Ottumwa’s Bridge View Center on Friday, December 8, at 7:30 p.m.

Nate Bargatze's Be Funny Tour - Grammy-nominated comedian and podcaster Nate Bargatze is bringing The Be Funny Tour to Ottumwa’s Bridge View Center on Friday, December 15, at 7 p.m.

Sisters Christmas Catechism - The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold is making its way to Ottumwa Sunday, December 17 at 2 p.m. on the Bridge View Center Theater stage. It's "CSI: Bethlehem" in this holiday mystery extravaganza as Sister takes on the mystery that has intrigued historians throughout the ages - whatever happened to the Magi's gold?
